Built by a Family Who Truly Understands
Shepparton Home Care isn’t just a business — it’s a personal mission. Founded by a family with lived experience of disability, we know firsthand how much great care matters. We’re here because families like ours needed a provider they could truly trust.
Why We Started Shepparton Home Care
Our director, Hassan Foreman, has an autistic son. Together with his wife — an experienced emergency nurse — they experienced firsthand the difficulty families face when trying to access consistent, high-quality NDIS support in regional Victoria.
Too often, participants were treated as plan numbers rather than people. Support workers came and went. Families were left navigating a complex system with little guidance and even less continuity of care.
“We didn’t start this business to build a company. We started it because we knew families like ours needed a provider they could truly trust — one that treated participants as people, not just plan numbers.”
That insight became Shepparton Home Care — a service built on clinical expertise, lived experience, and a genuine commitment to the Shepparton and Goulburn Valley community. We are locally based, family-owned, and deeply invested in the people we support.
Our background in emergency nursing means we bring a clinical lens to everything we do — from how we train our workers to how we build support plans. But at the heart of it all is something much simpler: we care.
